All Clover Leaf Cheddars and Deli cheeses are First Grade and many are Naturally Aged to ensure the highest, most consistent quality. Clover Leaf Cheese Ltd. was established in Calgary in 1939 and has maintained local ownership and operations ever since. In 1983 the company purchased its’ own 25,000 square foot Federally inspected, SQF/HACCP state of the art processing facility.
With the purchase of a large parmesan processor in 1997, Clover Leaf has become one of the largest processors of grated Parmesan cheese in Canada. This acquisition nearly doubled the number of employees and we continue to grow today.
Clover Leaf Cheese is a full-line cheese processor with over 200 varieties of cheese. The company sells only first grade cheese to large and small retail and private label customers. Processes include shredding, grating, slicing, dicing, cubing, logs, cuts and prepack, gas flushing and vacuum packaging.
The company has won many awards including the Alberta Dairy Association Gold Merit award for the cleanest plant in Alberta. Our plant operates 24 hours a day, 5 days per week under the supervision of our Quality Assurance team.
Using state of the art equipment, with full in-house maintenance and custom fabrication all contribute to our high level of service to meet our cutomer's needs.
